Yoga is meant to develop strength, flexibility and balance in the body while breathing mindfully. There are different types of yoga but all of them are very beneficial to your body and mind.
Yoga teaches us to confront our mental blocks, to go beyond our physical limits and to take what we learn on the mat with us into our daily life.
All my classes are one hour long and start with a mindful breathing exercise, a warming-up of the spine, followed by steady or moving poses. We end each class with a final relaxation.
Hatha Yoga is the original form of Yoga. It is perfect for beginners since it is a slower paced class However, more advanced students also benefit from this class, since there are always options to go deeper in a pose or to do a more advanced variation.
Hatha was originally practiced by monks in India. By holding the poses for a certain time, the glands and organs are stimulated which keeps them healthy.
After practicing Hatha Yoga you feel calm, engergized and rejuvenated.
