Dr Greger created a checklist with twelve boxes to check each day for optimal health.
The checklist includes not only food, but also supplements (specifically for the needs of vegans), beverages and exercise.
To make it easy for you, he created a free app you can download from Google play which also allows you to compare the progress you've made from the previous days.
This is an example of what the app looks like;
The dots represent the recommended number of servings. When you click separately on one of the dots, you get an explanation of which foods are included in this categorie and its serving size. It is super easy to use and creates awareness of your eating habits. In my experience, it is nearly impossible to tick all the dots without proper organisation and thought. But if you are up to the challenge, it is defintely possible to eat a little bit healthier each day !
Are you up for the challenge? If you have tried this, don't hesitate to leave a comment below and share your experience!
