1. Yoga enhances your flexibility
So this one is the most obvious one right? Whenever I used to think of yoga I pictured a man with his legs in his neck.
Why would you want to do that? Why is it actually healthy to be flexible?
When your muscles and connective tissue are tight, this causes all kinds of pain going from simple aches to unbearable pain!
This is why so many doctors simply prescribe yoga when patients complain their back or hip hurts all the time.
And to be honest, what do you think is healthier? To pop a pill every hour when you feel pain or to just do a simple yoga session a couple times a week?
Not only will your pain fade like snow for the sun, you're also working on getting a hot body!
Don't worry, you don't need to be able to do the pose in the picture to be healthy and flexible, you just have to make time for yourself and your body to squeeze in a couple of minutes of stretching a week.
